Omlette Recipe

Cooking up an omlette is perhaps the quickest meal you can make for yourself. There are lots of ways that you can make it but you might just want to have yours plain.

2 eggs
butter
salt and pepper

Beat up the eggs in a bowl with some salt and pepper. Heat a little bif of butter in a frying pan and allow it to get very hot. The pour in the eggs. Allow all of the egg to drip from the bowl and then pull the sides of the omlette away from the edge of the pan with a spoon. Just before the egg is set, when it is stil "dribbly", fold it over and slide it out of the pan. (Make sure you don't use too much butter because it will get too greasy, don't use milk and don't cook it for too long.)

Cheese Omlette - Sprinkle a little bit of grated cheese on the omlette just before folding it over.
Bacon Omlette - Fry a chopped rasher of bacon before you start the omlette, remove th ebits and any surplus fat from the pan. Make the omlette and then add in the bacon before folding it over.
Herb Omlette - Mix a handful of herbs (if possible some of them fresh) into the eggs before you start.
Tomato Omlette - Fry slices of tomato, and remove from the pan, add to omlette before you fold it over.

Spanish Omlette Recipe

1 cooked potato
1 onion
1 tomato
1 rasher of bacon
1 eggs
salt and pepper
butter for frying

Chop it all up and fry in as little fat as possible. Beat the eggs with salt and pepper in a bowl, and pour into a hot frying pan. Don't fold it over because it will be too thick. Leave it until just set (no longer than that).
